We were shocked to learn that one of our Turkish colleagues, a member of KUDA (Film Editors’ Society of Turkey), Erhan Örs, has been in pre-trial detention since the 3rd June 2022 for editing a documentary film produced in 2017 by a human rights NGO, now targeted by the government.
LMA expresses its full support to the members of KUDA and joins them in calling for the release of Erhan Örs.
