Paris July 7 2020,
The ADAB (Association des artistes bruiteurs), ADPP (Association des directeurs de post-production), AFSI (Association française du son à l’image) and LMA (Les Monteurs associés) are pleased to announce the PDF publication of the White Paper for Film Postproduction in France, which is the English translation of the Livre blanc de la post-production cinéma that was published in February 2019.
This translation, made possible thanks to the CST (Commission supérieure technique de l’image et du son), is eagerly awaited by our European colleagues (as well as those on other continents) because the difficulties that confront us — the decrease in manpower and equipment and the industrialization of our activities, among other things — are echoed beyond our boundaries. Aside from certain French particularities, everyone will be able to put into perspective their own practices and make use of the proposals for good practice in the field of editing and sound postproduction that are set out in the White Paper.
The White Paper for Film Postproduction in France can be downloaded from the AFSI and Monteurs associés websites (on this page or on the one dedicated to publications).
